Terry Frost's 1963 Falcon
Sprint Hardtop is still equipped with the original Challenger 260cid V8
engine with chrome valve covers and air cleaner, the '63 and early '64
260cid engines had the oil fill neck in the timing cover and not in the
left valve cover as does late '64 260 cid and '65-up 289-302's and a
Borg Warner T-10 4spd. Terry has upgraded the car from a single master
cylinder to a dual reservoir, dual exhaust and American Racing
Torque-Thrust D wheels and radials. Terry drove this car to the 2004
FCA Nationals in Kansas City and placed first in the "Diamond in the
Ruff Class". In 1963 10,479 Sprint hardtops were built out of the total
435,963 Falcon Production. |
